Prony’Elles: A Committed Forum for International Women’s Rights Day
On Wednesday, March 12, Prony Resources hosted the third edition of the Prony’Elles forum as part of International Women’s Rights Day. The event brought together more than 100 participants, including employees, contractors, and residents of Yaté. First launched in 2022, this forum aims to promote professional equality and highlight women’s career journeys within the company.

A Meaningful and Welcoming Event
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Prony’Elles encouraged interaction and dialogue while strengthening connections between participants. The event fully aligns with the company’s CSR approach by actively promoting the role of women in society.
A Space for Discussion and Information
More than a dozen external speakers — professionals from the legal, health, and social sectors — hosted interactive information booths.
Among the participants were:
• The New Caledonia Health and Social Agency
• The Gendarmerie,
• The Municipality of Mont-Dore,
• The Women’s Association of the Drubéa Kapumë Customary Area,
• As well as other committed professionals.
The interactive booths enabled participants to engage with experts and gain access to practical and useful information. The forum played an essential role in creating a space where women could speak freely and better understand the obstacles that can hinder their professional development.
Workshops and Skills Showcased
The Women’s Association of the Drubéa Kapumë Customary Area offered tastings of local products as well as a weaving workshop, highlighting the territory’s traditional and cultural skills.

“Women are becoming aware that they can overcome challenges and succeed.”
